Depending on your goals, there will be a unique training program that we’ll need to set up with you. If a marathon is your goal then we’ll normally focus on stamina and endurance, whereas golf requires core stability, upper body strength and flexibility. The details of the program will also depend on your current physical state and training habits, as these things will need to be taken into account by your personal trainer. You might have very specific goals, our job is to help you achieve them. Whatever the challenge, we will be with you every step of the way.

In the case of sports injury, we have highly-trained physio specialists who can assess and then help you return to health. There is also sports massage available at our centre, giving us more possible ways of improving circulation, reducing muscle tension, increasing flexibility and relieving pain. We have both male and female practitioners and trainers, so please let us know if this is important to you. What should you bring to your first session?

Firstly, to get off to a flying start, bring a positive attitude! Once your plan is agreed, you’ll be advised of what to bring & wear but you should  bring the following items to your initial assessment session:

  • Suitable loose clothing, e.g., shorts, loose top
  • Suitable footwear e.g. Trainers
  • Relevant medical history
  • Medication details
  • And don’t forget your glasses if you need them to read forms!
